Dig 12 inches deep for driveway.
9 inch of crushed concrete which would be a hard base.
We would compact the base.
After everything is compacted we would put 1 inch of sand which we consider a soft base. This also will get compacted.
Would be pavers on top- design and lay pavers down.
Filling the gap with polymeric sand.
Around the edges depending on what they are getting we would Belgian block or concrete edge around it.
We would then cover with top soil. (polymeric sand does prevent weed growth so no weeds through the pavers) can only use 6X9 or 3piece as options.
Dig 12 inches deep for the driveway and haul away the existing, concrete/asphalt/blacktop.
Prepare surface for 9 inch of crushed concrete which would be a hard base to prevent improper drainage.
We would compact the concrete base.
After everything is compacted we lay 1inch of concrete sand which is considered a a soft base. This will prevent pavers shifting.
Pavers will be laid with the choice of design.
After pavers and designs are laid, a special polymeric sand will be laid and spread through paver joints to prevent weed growth.
After paver is prepped and sanded. We seal paver edges with a 1inch concrete base that will be covered with top soil.
After concrete edge is sealed and coverd, we will water down the patio to activate the polymeric sand that will seal the joint of the pavers which will prevent indefinate regrowth.
